The Squad

Now that we have gotten up-to-date on Guinea’s qualifying progress, it is time to introduce the squad. These are all the players that have gotten called up to the National Team since the beginning of the year. According to wikipedia anyway. What one will notice about the list of players in addition to the plethora of Bangouras and Camaras, is how young most of them are. There are very few players who have been called up this year that are over 30 years old and of those that are 2 of them are goalkeepers. Most of the team is in their mid-20s with a fair number of them still teenagers or in their early-20s. It is a squad built to win now but also one built to win in the coming years as well.
