Bangoura has a nice first touch and good positional sense. He got the best of William Gallas on several occasions Wednesday, one of them leading to Dynamo's goal. Bangoura is a pretty reliable finisher, but needs to work on finding his teammates, as he's sometimes too willing to go it alone. I just wish he didn't telegraph his pass to Aliyev on the late 2 on 1 break and Dynamo could have had a huge win against Arsenal.

I fully expect Guinea to beat Kenya. As you said, I can't imagine a African Cup without this team. They bring such flair to the competition with their improvisation and skills. Some tactical discipline is the missing ingredient but that has gotten better with time and should continue to improve. Nice piece Shane. Hope Bangoura lives up to his full potential (even though he scored against my beloved Arsenal!)
